We now look at concerns raised around the ANC's party list. Political parties have submitted their candidate lists for the National Assembly and provincial legislatures to the Independent Electoral Commission, ahead of this weeks' deadline. There has been criticism over the ANC's party list as senior leaders implicated in corruption and state capture have made the party's list of potential members of parliament, after the May elections. The party has confirmed that Nomvula Mokonyane, Bathabile Dlamini and Malusi Gigaba are on their list. ANC secretary general, Ace Magashule says the list was compiled after an extensive consultation with the party structures across ANC branches and regions.
