The opening concert will be Sunday 8 March where we will present the Korimako Piano Trio. This newly -formed ensemble and the Waikanae concert will be their first professional engagement with several more to follow throughout the country. The ensemble may be new, but the musicians are very familiar with Violinist Helene Pohl and cellist Rod Gjelsten having spent 30 years as valued members of the NZ String Quartet. They are joined by NZ based German pianist Michael Endres renowned for his brilliant performances.
