In this chapter of Packer's Concise Theology, he discusses apostles. Apostles were uniquely chosen eyewitnesses of Christ’s resurrection and founders of the Church, whose teachings in Scripture are authoritative and enduring. While the office no longer exists, its legacy continues in the life and doctrine of the global Church.
