Like a good movie, the book of Acts closes inviting the reader to respond. If Acts was simply a story about Paul or the Apostles the last few verses feel unfinished, but because Acts is about the work of God it closes with an invitation to join God in his mission of spreading the good news of the Kingdom and the hope we have in Jesus. In this passage we see Paul preach one more time and then offer a warning not to harden our hearts, close our ears, or shut our eyes to the message of the Gospel.
