From Matthew 27:15-31. In this passage, we see that Jesus is going to be condemned not because of any crime he has committed, but rather for the truthful declaration of “I am the Christ”. This passage will end with Jesus walking towards his own crucifixion, and that is ultimately good for us and good for God’s plan of redemption.
