In Figure (a), two identical retangular rods of metal are welded end to end, with T1 = 0 degrees C a left side and T2 = 1-- degrees C on the right side. In 2.0 min 10 J is conducted at a constant rate from the right to left side. How much time would it take ot conduct 10 J if the rods were welded side to side as in Figure (b).
