The bar orientation is the direction associated with the largest eigenvector of the elastic tensor. The background color shading indicates the water content, while the color of the bars indicates the deformation type for this particle at this time in the simulation. Only the top 150~km of the model is shown. Only CPO directions with strain higher than 0.25 are shown. The numbers on the axes are meters.
