Hey there surfers and beachgoers! Hang loose as I bring you the latest surf zone forecast for some awesome spots in New York!

Let's kick it off with Kings (Brooklyn), where we've got a high rip current risk through Friday evening. Today, expect surf heights of 4 to 5 feet with a partly sunny sky and temps in the upper 70s. Don't forget, grab your SPF as the UV index is moderate!

Moving over to Southern Queens, similar conditions with a high rip current risk. Surf heights around 4 to 5 feet, mild temps, and a slight chance of showers. Make sure to swim near a lifeguard and keep those eyes on the waves!

In Southern Nassau, the high rip current risk continues with surf heights hitting 5 to 6 feet. Expect mostly cloudy skies and a mid-70s temperature. Stay safe and avoid the surf if possible to steer clear of those rip currents!

Down in Southwestern Suffolk, we've got the waves at 4 to 5 feet and a good chance of showers. The winds are blowing from the northeast, so hold onto your hats if you're hitting the sand!

Lastly, in Southeastern Suffolk, the surf's up at 4 to 5 feet with a high rip current risk. Keep an eye out for some showers and make sure to secure your belongings as the winds pick up heading into the weekend.

Remember, always keep safety first, have a flotation device handy, and swim near a lifeguard. And if you find yourself caught in a rip current, relax and float - panicking won't help!
