We still sin- It's one of those ugly truths about the Christian life, isn't it- Like finding a facial zit on your wedding day, it's not a truth we want anyone to see. Hide it, cover it up, secret it away. When someone asks, -How are you-- on a Sunday morning, we say, -Good, how are you-- but we are not always good. A sin hidden from God, hidden from brothers and sisters in Christ, separates us from one another. Bonhoeffer writes, -He who is alone with his sin is utterly alone.- If we have leant anything from our -love one another- series, it is this- Loneliness isn't how we roll. We need one another.--So, what are we to do- How do we remain in fellowship with God and one another if we still sin- God gives us the answer in James 5-13-16- 1 John 1-5-10- Psalm 32. Confess your sins to one another and be forgiven.
