The dictionary defines confession as a statement – made by a person or by a group of persons – acknowledging some personal fact that the person (or the group) would ostensibly prefer to keep hidden.

"PREFER TO KEEP HIDDEN" stands out for us. Itis natural that you want to hide the things you think you have done wrong, or stay away from God when you fail. But God is teaching us a new meaning of confession. It is not just stating the fact of what you have done, it is opening up yourself, in humility to God and allowing His love, clean up your heart.

Confession is more than a verbal or written statement, it is an act of surrender to God.
