The Church has a way of over complicating what it means to be a follower of Jesus. There can be a lot of requirements and expectations that in the end do not result in a more robust and vibrant faith. Sometimes it is most helpful to simply get back to the basics. Focusing on spending time in prayer, reading the scriptures, confessing our sin, and exercising our faith in serving others will help us engage with the foundations of our faith. 

On this episode, Pastor Dan share that when we come to God and confess our sins, we will be forgiven and experience freedom and joy. Confession is more than just saying sorry; it’s letting go of our sin and transgression and putting it into the hands of God.
