Admitting my failures publicly so you can avoid them personally.
-I’ve struggled with doubt.
My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. 1 Cor 4:4
Wisdom: Learn the hard way or Learn the easy way
I fell for the myth that unconditional love magically undoes the consequences of my poor choices.
God’s gifts unconditional love through Christ Jesus – Outcomes are conditional upon our choices
Mistaking unconditional love as a loophole that undoes the consequences of poor choices, leads to pain.
All who listen to my instructions and follow them are wise, like a person who builds their own house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents, and the floods rise, and the storm winds beat against their house, it won’t collapse for it is built on rock. But those who hear my instructions and ignore them are foolish, like a person who builds their house on sand. For when the rains and the floods come and storm winds beat against their house, it will fall with a might crash. Matthew 7:24-27
