Lord God, this midday I pray for others, for people I know and love, for my family 

members and for friends. Lord, I admit that I assume I know what is best and right for 

them. As I pray today, I admit that I often get that wrong. Today, I simply bring them to 

you. I ask for you to extend your loving-kindness to them, to make yourself present to 

them, and to pour your love into their lives. And I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
