Jesus’ response is obedience. Obedience to Mary and Joseph, which is ultimately learning obedience to the Heavenly Father. We learn obedience to God through obedience to our earthly parents and our mother, the Church. Also, spouses please remember that the most important person in your life, after God, is your spouse.
