What is it about conflict that makes you so uncomfortable? Or do you find yourself very comfortable in conflict?
Either way it’s an important part of our daily routine that, when avoided or exploited, can have devastating effects on our sense of self worth and ability to function properly in the work place and at home.
But, when harnessed correctly, conflict is the only way new ideas and new process can ever come to pass. If you find yourself as a leader in fewer conflicts, you may want to stop and ask why. Have you asserted your authority to the point where no one will speak up? Or have you showed that you won’t stand up when you are truly challenged?
