There is one—and only one—fundamental reason for the madness that humanity continues to manifest. This may come as a surprise to many, but if you stay with me, I will explain why this is so. Before doing so, however, I must emphasize an important truth: the fact that there is ultimately a single root cause of war and chaos means that any attempt to address these issues without tackling this core problem will only lead to the continued perpetuation of madness. Efforts to fix symptoms while ignoring the root will never bring true resolution.

We must also recognize that the self-absorption and self-centeredness of the human ego are deeply ingrained. The ego resists change and clings to its patterns, making transformation difficult. Because of this, we cannot afford to wait for others to change—we must take responsibility for change ourselves. Expecting the world to shift while remaining the same ourselves is an illusion. If we want to see a different world, we must embody that change in our own lives.

Living the change we wish to see means making a deep and unwavering commitment to ending conflict within ourselves. Every external war is a reflection of the unresolved battles within individual hearts and minds. If we are unwilling to confront our own inner turmoil, we will inevitably contribute to the collective madness. True transformation begins with each of us. Only when we commit to inner peace can we hope to create a world free from division and destruction.
