A Vancouver, Washington family hopes someone will finally be held responsible for their loved one’s murder more than five decades after the crime. Investigators say their suspect is a convicted serial killer known throughout Clark County. Warren Forrest is already serving two life sentences for two murders from the 1970s, but he’s suspected of eight total. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office reopened their cold case investigations motivated by advances in DNA technology, and are focusing efforts on the murder of 20-year-old Carol Valenzuela.
