Community living has changed a lot in the last few hundred years.
We can argue whether it’s for the better or worse, and I believe there’s good reasons on both sides of the fence.
One thing for near certainty is that we’ve lost the connection we once had.
As technology advances I’m an avid believer in remembering the importance of the connection we are losing with the land, others and ourselves.
Jake is the process of building a co-living community with the intention of this re-connection. As the saying goes, “think global, act local”.
I’m super excited to see this journey unfold.
Jake and I discussed:
🌀 The concepts of permaculture
🌀 Sociocracy in the context of a community project
🌀 Consent versus Consensus
🌀 Positive change at the local and global level
🌀 The benefit of working with the government
🌀 Objections as gifts
🌀 Culture shift
