Week 8 of our Culture Shift series, Michael Page reminds us that we have been entrusted with the good news of the gospel, and we cannot be afraid to share it. Just as a doctor would never withhold life-saving news from someone because they were afraid to deliver it, we shouldn’t keep the gospel to ourselves because we’re uncomfortable or afraid. Through Scripture, we see that there is real bad news—the reality of sin and God’s judgment—but there is also incredible good news: God has made a way for us to be rescued through Jesus. Every follower of Jesus is called to evangelize, not simply by living a good life, encouraging someone, or inviting them to church, but by clearly sharing the gospel. God has placed people within our sphere of influence who need to hear the truth, and we are called to step outside of our comfort zones and deliver the message we have been entrusted with. Because we know the good news, we cannot be afraid to share it.

Week 7 of our Culture Shift series, Michael Page reminds us that evangelism isn’t an option for a select few—it’s a calling for every follower of Jesus. Through Scripture, we see that the gospel is the good news that Jesus came to save us from sin and the judgment we deserve, offering salvation through His grace. Because we have experienced the love and grace of Christ, we are called to bring that same good news to the people around us. Evangelism is more than living a good life, inviting someone to church, or simply telling someone that God loves them—it is God’s people, empowered by God’s Spirit, delivering God’s message. The love of Christ compels us to step outside of our comfort zones, pursue people who are far from God, and clearly share the gospel with them. We have been made new in Christ and given a new purpose, and that purpose is to make disciples and point others toward the salvation found in Jesus. Because we know the good news, we have the responsibility to make sure others hear it.

Week 5 of our Culture Shift series, Masun Womble reminds us that generosity is more than something we do—it’s a reflection of who we trust. Through Scripture, we see that everything we have ultimately belongs to God, and we are called to faithfully steward what He has entrusted to us. While the world tells us to hold tightly to what we have and build our own kingdoms, Jesus calls us to live open-handed lives marked by surrender, sacrifice, and generosity. Because Jesus first gave everything for us, our generosity becomes a response to the gospel and a reflection of His love. Our time, resources, gifts, influence, and possessions are not meant to serve ourselves, but to glorify God and bless others. When we live generously, we show the world what it looks like to trust God, love people, and live for something greater than ourselves.

Week 4 of our Culture Shift series, Masun Womble reminds us that serving is more than something we do—it’s who we are. Through Matthew 20, we see Jesus redefine what greatness looks like. While the world tells us that greatness comes from being served, Jesus shows us that true greatness is found in becoming a servant. When we put our faith in Christ, He changes our identity and frees us from living for ourselves so that we can live for God and serve others. Our homes, jobs, gifts, resources, and influence are no longer meant to build our own kingdom, but to build His. Serving opens the door to the gospel, builds up the family of God, and advances the mission of reaching all nations. Every person has a role to play, and when we faithfully use what God has given us to serve one another, the whole body is strengthened and the gospel moves forward. This isn’t just an event to attend—it’s a family to belong to and a mission to live for.

Week 3 of our Culture Shift series, Eric Owens challenges us to see that saved people serve people. Through the example of Jesus, the ultimate servant King, we’re reminded that the gospel doesn’t just change what we believe—it changes how we live. Jesus didn’t come to be served, but to serve, and as His followers, we’re called to do the same. Serving means laying down comfort, pride, recognition, and convenience to put others before ourselves. It’s not about finding a platform or proving our worth; it’s about having our identity so firmly rooted in Christ that we have nothing to prove and nothing to protect. When every member of the church embraces their role and serves faithfully, the whole body becomes stronger, the mission moves forward, and God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. Saved people serve people.

Week 2 of our Culture Shift series, Michael Page takes us through Acts 2 and Hebrews 10, challenging us to see that biblical community is far more than simply attending church or being around other believers. The early church was devoted to God’s Word, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer—and that devotion shaped every part of their lives. Community means doing real life together, being known, showing up for one another, receiving correction, meeting needs, and encouraging each other to keep following Jesus. But this kind of community isn’t meant to turn inward; it’s meant to make us mission-driven. As we live as a unified family and center our lives around Jesus, we become a church equipped to boldly carry the gospel into our neighborhoods, our workplaces, our city, and the nations.

Week 1 of our Culture Shift series, Michael Page walks us through Acts 2 and Colossians 3, showing us what it looks like to live out the culture of community as the Church. From the very beginning, God designed His people to live life together—sharing burdens, growing together, pursuing unity, and centering their lives around the mission of making disciples. Community is more than simply gathering in the same room; it’s choosing to live on mission together and recognizing that every person has a place and a purpose within the body of Christ. As we embrace a culture of community, we become a church that is alive, active, and equipped to carry the gospel into our neighborhoods, our city, and the nations.

Week 23 of our Kingdom Code series, Michael Page walks us through Matthew 18:10–14, where Jesus reveals the heart of the Good Shepherd through the parable of the lost sheep. In this powerful passage, Jesus reminds us that every person matters deeply to God and that His desire is not for even one of His children to be lost. As followers of Christ, we're called to reflect that same heart by pursuing those who have wandered, restoring those who have fallen, and valuing every person as someone loved by the Father. Rather than celebrating condemnation, the Church is called to rejoice in restoration, carrying the ministry of reconciliation that Christ has entrusted to us. In every season, Jesus invites us to pursue others with grace, fight for unity, and reflect the relentless love of the Shepherd who never stops seeking the one.

Week 22 of our Kingdom Code series, Michael Page walks us through Matthew 18:1–9, where Jesus answers His disciples' question about who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven by placing a child in their midst. Through this powerful teaching, Jesus reveals that true greatness is found not in status or recognition, but in humility, dependence on God, and a heart that reflects His own. As we follow Jesus, we're reminded to lay down pride, value those around us, and take sin seriously, recognizing its impact on ourselves and others. In every season, Christ calls us to embrace childlike faith, walk in humble obedience, and trust that life in His Kingdom is shaped by surrender rather than self-promotion.

Week 21 of our Kingdom Code series, Michael Page walks us through Matthew 17:24–27, where Jesus addresses the temple tax by reminding His disciples of His true identity as the Son of God. Although Jesus is not obligated to pay the tax, He willingly chooses humility over asserting His rights, instructing Peter to miraculously find a coin in a fish's mouth to cover the payment for them both. Through this moment, we're reminded that Jesus perfectly balances truth and grace, never compromising who He is while choosing to love and serve others. As we follow Christ, we're challenged to lay down our own rights when it helps remove unnecessary obstacles to the gospel, trusting that God will faithfully provide everything we need as we walk in humble obedience.
