“Connected World” Host Tyler Kern spoke with Badi Ebrahimifard, chief technology officer & VP of R&D at TE Connectivity, to find out what minimally invasive medicine will look like in the future as well as the current trends and advancements.

1. The normalization of minimally invasive procedures, and

2. The emergence of minimally invasive applications.

With TE Connectivity being a contributor to the strength of minimally invasive procedures, procedures such as percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) can be done more efficiently and safely. In fact, over 80% of the PCI stent placements worldwide deployed TE technology.
