In this episode we’re blessed to have have a conversation World-Class Physiotherapist & Researcher, Connor Gleadhill. Connor is a current researcher at the local HMRI where they're performing world-leading research into pain and has also just begun his PHD. Connor has this innate ability to simplify complex and deep scientific principles into bite sized chunks of understanding. He has SFMA + FMS qualifications and has a deep interest in Ido Portal movement culture, BUT he's also a scientist who believes that people should be open to NOT ‘just following one method blindly’. He works mainly with ACL injuries and semi-professional athletes. In this episode we discuss the concept of pain, how it's tied to a "story" we tell ourselves about our experience and a framework to better understand our bodies and pain. We also dive into the concepts of short-term bandaid approaches that are common in today's clinical world vs long-term preventative approaches & what the real intention of great physicians should be <3
Enjoy this special episode, fam!
With love and gratitude,
Nick
