Connor and I had a very random and ridiculous chat, including some potential future Hallmark plots, worm farms, and some Second City discussions.
A little about Connor: Connor is an actor, writer, director, and improvisor. At Second City, he wrote and performed in three mainstage revues, including the Dora-nominated and Canadian Comedy Award-winning Sixteen Scandals. As an improvisor he has travelled the world, teaching and performing at festivals in exotic places like Cape Town, Copenhagen, Detroit, London, Barcelona, Athens, Hamburg, and Dublin. In 2019 his sketch troupe, the Lusty Mannequins, performed to sold out audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. (Okay, there were only two sold out audiences, but there were still lots of people at all the shows, he swears.) He also writes short stories, some of which can be found in print and online at various fun magazines. He lives in Toronto with his wife, Ashley, and dog, Toby, and he is currently patiently awaiting June, when the peonies bloom, which he considers to be the nicest time of year. Find him, if you like, at @cpethompson
