Lila is a 3x Leukemia Survivor and as if that wasn't enough to showcase her phenomenal bravery, she also helped create what is now, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Societies, Climb to Cure. 

Lila discusses how she used a marathon to get her through first hearing she had Leukemia then Climbing Kilimanjaro as her second. Through that journey we learn about her goal to raise a million dollars for cancer research, and not to give it away, she did, in just her first year fundraising.
