May 11, 2025- today is the World Day of Prayer for Vocations! Join us in praying the Glorious mysteries of the Rosary to support vocations, especially those discerning religious life. Each mystery will be led by a representative from a different religious community- from previous episodes and upcoming releases.

Originally founded on December 12, 1831 in Ireland, the Religious Sisters of Mercy were founded for the service of those who are distressed, especially women and children. Re-founded on September 1, 1973 post Vatican II, the Order in Alma, Michigan strive to praise and share God's Mercy. Their primary apostolate of serving in healthcare, the Sisters seek to uplift the corporeal and spiritual works of mercy. Alongside the evangelical vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience, the Sisters take a fourth vow of service to the poor and sick.

"The oldest 'new' vocation," Consecrated Virginity has been around since the beginnings of the Church. As a consecrated virgin Jen Settle gives a brief history of this practice and clarifies some misconceptions about their life. Unlike traditional religious orders who usually have an age limit, Consecrated Virginity is open to women beyond these restrictions. A contemplative (but not cloistered) community, the Sisters of Mary Morning Star are an international community who seek to be missionaries of hope.
