As we move into our second series in the book of the Leviticus called "Cleansing," the focus shifts from the sacrifices to be offered to ritual cleansing. In order to properly worship the Lord, someone who has been defiled must first be properly cleansed before they are reintegrated into the worship community. Leviticus 8 focuses on the consecration of Aaron and his sons, the priests. Before the sacrifices could be offered, even the priests needed to be prepared and cleansed.
