This is Greatest Hits by The Velvicks.

The band is no more but the music lives on ONLY in DeMu. It's not on Spotify, iTunes, Soundcloud, or anywhere  else on the internet. You can hear it on DeMu or Vinyl. Nowhere else.

Long live rock and roll.

The Velvicks were an LA stadium rock band who never quite fulfilled their destiny. They were the first band signed by Cannabis Records (who would eventually become Hash Power Music). The Velvicks' sonic roots lay in Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, The Pixies, and Pink Floyd. Their first studio album, "Greatest Hits" was produced by the Foo Fighters' chief engineer, Lou Lousteu at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Studio B!

The album harkens back to a time of unapologetic rock and roll. Where rebels fought and rockers fucked. These were the Golden Years. Side A (1-7) is pure intensity. It's getting kicked out of the bar at 4am, tv's out the window, blow up doll in the bathtub, leopard in the guest bedroom. Side B (8-10) is an epic voyage to the dark side of the moon kind of experience. 3 long tracks 

This album was created with intention. It is meant to be listened to in order front to back. It's a shame the band broke up right after the album released. But we have these 10 tracks and for that I'm grateful to the rock gods. And if I may be so bold as to say... they fuckin' rock!
