But Republicans have ripped it as a "federal government takeover" and accuse Democrats of trying to change election rules to benefit themselves.

The House gave the nod on Saturday to pass three foreign aid bills, dishing out funds to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. The $95 billion foreign aid package now heads to the Senate for a vote. The Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act got the green light with a 311-112 vote, and there was one present vote. The bill includes $61 billion for Ukraine and neighboring pals. Democrats were all smiles once it cleared.
