What we realize in life is that decisions we make have consequences; good or bad. As we continue our walk through the first part of the Book of Hosea, this topic will feature front and center. Hosea's marriage to the prostitute Gomer is an allusion to God's relationship with Israel and, bringing it up to today, with us. We will see that when we put things ahead of God in our lives, or when we go against what is in God's Word, there are consequences associated with our decisions. We will dig in to this and will see the length to which God goes to love us and to protect us, and how we can honor him in our lives.
