Most of us don't find it easy to trust people. It's not in our nature- our sinful nature that is. After all, why would we trust someone who is not faithful- Why put our confidence in a person who is not trustworthy- However, when it comes to matters of life and faith and our salvation, we are utterly dependent upon Jesus. Can we trust him- Is he faithful------ABSOLUTELY-- declares the writer in Hebrews 3-1-6. Christ has given us every reason to put our confidence in him. He is faithful over all God's house as a son. Therefore, we are urged, 'consider Jesus' and 'hold fast' to the promises of God faithfully fulfilled in his Son.
