In Isaiah 5:8-13, God issues a very strong warning, saying twice, “Woe unto them that”, then He goes on to describe conditions very similar to today, and in verse 14 He makes a shocking statement that Hell hath enlarged it’s self to accommodate a great number of new inhabitants. What happened when Hell enlarged it’s self? Could it have happened when Noah was in the Ark? No doubt it caused cataclysmic changes when it happened.
In the same passage he explains some of the reasons that brought these people to this destination by telling us, “they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands”. This entire series about Our Timeless Creator focuses on that very thing.
Multiple testimonies have confirmed that when we come to understand in our hearts, that God is more than our source of relief from problems and a provider of our desires it changes things. We start to see God’s hand in everything in our life and begin to understand how we can actually glorify God just as we are admonished to. “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” (2Cor. 10:31)
Salient Points: Worry, The 5th Earth, Water and waters, Appreciating creation, God’s preserved word, Self glory, Not in vain, Man’s best efforts, An eternal purpose, Waters, Get curious, Everything God does is important, The significance of water, Where is the water now, The significance of the salt of the earth, Irrational logic, God’s functioning creation, The seven seas, Water in abundance, Water’s importance, Viewing God as Creator, Considering God’s actions not just His provision, A higher perspective, God keeps track of us in every detail, Magnify God, Where did all the extra water go, Hell’s expansion, The continental separation, Saved by Noah, Real cataclysmic changes, How much water, The marvels of the work of the LORD.
