We welcome first time guest Tony Kail to the show. We speak to Tony about his new book "Stories of Rootworkers & Hoodoo in the Mid-South". In this book Tony traces the lineage and practices of Hoodoo and how it was both feared and embraced by the both the African American and White communities in the Mid South region. We also discuss some of the personalities involved in the practice of Hoodoo and their own influences upon it. We also spend some time on the misconception and confusion with Voodoo and what some of the differences are.
