Wow my friends. This has been a long-time dream of mine, since the inception of the Altar of Stars, to share conversations with people that I deeply admire & adore. It feels SO beyond special to me to be sharing this first conversation with the incredible Andrea Durfee of ARA Creative Wellness!

A birther of worlds, a weaver of dreamscapes, a devotee of Goddesses.

Andrea is a creative powerhouse, SO dedicated and inspiring in how she shares her gifts with the world. I have followed her work for many years, and didn’t even realize we lived in the same city until last year! I feel so deeply honored for her generosity in sharing this conversation, talking about her Creative praxis + sources of inspiration.

ANDREA’S BIO:

Andrea Durfee is an artist and NYS licensed creative arts therapist based in Rochester, NY. Her paintings, sculpture and animation celebrates women, nature and sacred connection through vibrant landscapes and intimate portraits fusing the figure with flora and fauna. She is the creator of the oracle deck, Gaia: Lessons from the Earth and has a forthcoming book of poetry and goddesses being released February 2025. Her creations are an offering of space in which one can take a quiet walk, find light, and connect.
