Andre Frattino, one of the podcast’s oldest guests if not the oldest, returns to discuss his seminal graphic novel We Are Pan. Based on the true story of Operation Pedro Pan, the comic shines a light on this overlooked point of recent history and the people who bravely struggled through it. Andre gives us background on the creation of the comic as well as his other work including his upcoming DC Comics debut in Hawk-Girl Summer! We also get a glimpse into Andre’s career as a haunted tour guide and how his background in telling ghost stories feeds into his comics writing.
