This current pandemic is unlike anything anyone has ever experienced. While watching the news makes it feel very doom and gloom, many people are taking a different perspective. People may be skipping their daily shower or even brushing their teeth, but they're also looking at this period for self improvement. Tune in to hear how a 22 year old and 49 year old male are taking advantage of this time.
In Season 2, I continue to explore how America looks at 'getting older'. While I believe society is moving away from ageism, thanks to AARP's #disruptaging--we still have a long way to go. Tune in as I speak with women in their 40s, 50s and 60s. If you like what you hear, please rate, review and SHARE.
We're back with more dialogue around 'digital detoxing' and how more people are taking breaks as a form of self-care. I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but I think it's an interesting topic to explore from all angles. If you missed the previous episodes on digital detoxing, you can find them here: Digital detoxing is the latest 'wellness trend', and The impact of social media

To help me understand the value behind a digital detox, I invited Kameka Dempsey, Founder/CEO of KD Leadership Strategies. You can find her on Twitter (where she talks about her Phone Free Saturday).

This week I talk to a mom and her teens about their social media habits. What they're using, why and how their personalities differ. Do they have rules when it comes to posting? Lesson 1: Facebook is still relevant to teens, but maybe not in the same way as previous generations. Lesson 2: Tune in to find out. As always, RATE, REVIEW, ETC
