Dorian Gray is the reflective persona of the Italian producer and DJ, Moreno Mariotti, an artist whose comprehension of techno music is a far cry from any conventions. Dorian’s musical craftsmanship is influenced by two core aspects – his interest in astronomy, but also esotericism and mythology. His productions formulate refined deep and ambient atmosphere, cleverly connected to his interests beyond music. Spellbinding rhythms, detailed ambient pads, and intervening acidic loops shape Dorian’s signature sound and provide a clear glance at this artist’s inspirational flow and intricate creative process. His work appeared on labels such as The Gods Planet, Edit Select Records, Informa Records and many others. This year he launched his new label DORIAN.
