For centuries, a mysterious creature has stalked the shallows of European coasts in pairs, hunting any unlucky soul to cross their path. With detailed accounts of sightings, human deaths, and even a Dobhar-chú grave, the water hound may be one of the most ferocious beasts we have yet to discuss (giving you yet another reason to stay away from the water). Could it be something as "innocent" as an otter? Or is there a more perilous presence patrolling the pages of Irish folklore?
