The Apostle Paul stated to the elders at Ephesus that after his departure, savage wolves would come in not sparing the flock. The Apostle John said that many anti-messiahs had already gone out from the body of Messiah at the time of the writing of his epistles. Jude states that believers must contend for the original belief that was once for all delivered. The Scripture is clear that the "apostasy" or the "falling away" from the original belief delivered by Yeshua and HIS set-apart emissaries BEGAN in the very first century. If THEY had to contend for the original belief THEN, how much more must we after 2,000 years of wolves, anti-messiahs, and deep deception? Yeshua said "Follow Me" NOT follow religion!
