Megan Prokott, known on Instagram as The Spines, began her online project in August 2017 as a place to share her love of books, her career in the publishing industry, and her life in Chicago. A year and a half and nearly 25,000 followers later, The Spines has become an exploration of aesthetics, creative marketing, and photography, as well as a well-read community of friends.
