The first step in creating optimized content for your website is to conduct keyword research to find high-quality, relevant, long-tail keywords with low competition.  Every page on your site is another opportunity to rank for a keyword – and you’ll need content to do that.  Reach for 500 to 1,000 words per page.  People might not read it all, but the search engines will.  Additionally, the newest content is the best content – so you’ll need to continue producing high-quality content for your site – the more, the better.
