Envy.

It's not a pretty emotion.

Yet, all the advantages and things others have that you don't can make you down right resentful and discontent.

That's envy.

And it's hard not to feel this way at times in this materialistic world. But God does have an antidote.

As a believer you are a child of God, an heir and a joint heir with Jesus.

Which means everthing that belongs to him belongs to you.

You've been given every spiritual blessing in Christ and everything you need for life and godliness.

One day the world will take notice.

But until then, let these truths be the foundation for your contentment in this materialistic world.

And instead of envy, you can feel thankful for all that have in Jesus.
