At the heart of 2 Tim. 3 is Paul's exhortation to "continue in what Timothy has learned and become convinced of." There are "terrible times" in these last days. 'False teachers' abound and "everyone in the province of Asia has deserted Paul." What should Timothy do in the face of all this? In one word: "Continue!'
