Control - the power to influence or direct people's behavior or the course of events
In it's inception Hip Hop was a way to vent frustrations & alleviate issues in a manner of our choosing through creative mediums. Once it became a corporate entity the culture's ability to say & do what it wants seems to know be controlled by those who "own" it from a financial standpoint. Where does that leave those in the culture who have not yet been bought or bought into the system? It's a lot of "you can't say that" going on & that's not what we represent. Let's talk bout this!
