Have you ever noticed that, when you've tried to refill your anxiety meds or other controlled meds, you may get a "weird look" at the pharmacy? Or why sometimes your medication isn't covered by your insurance? Or has your pharmacist ever mentioned "the PMP" to you?

There often is a lack of transparency in healthcare, so we wanted to take the time to shed some light on controlled medication specifically for stress and anxiety.

Why are these meds controlled? What is the pharmacist doing on the computer when you bring in a script? How is the DEA involved in this process?
