A sharp word from a coworker, a frustrating traffic jam, or a disagreement at home—it does not take much for anger to flare up within us. A flash of temper can feel powerful in the moment, but it often leaves a trail of regret, hurt feelings, and broken connections. It is a powerful emotion that, left unchecked, can control our actions and damage our witness for Christ. The Bible does not say we will never feel angry, but it clearly calls us to be slow to let it take root in our hearts.
