On Tuesday, President Trump and Vice President JD Vance attended the National Prayer Service, where they were directly confronted and preached to by Bishop Mariann Budde. The bishop urged them to show mercy towards the LGBT community and illegal immigrants. In response, the President has requested an apology from the bishop for her comments.
