Today's convention theme is, “Make America Wealthy Once Again," a nod to the successful economic policies enacted under the Trump Administration between 2016 and 2020. The presumptive GOP Nominee Donald Trump has promised once again to "usher in a new age of prosperity" should he return to the White House in January of 2025.

American columnist, author and Independent Women's Forum Senior Policy Analyst Carrie Sheffield joins Amanda Head to dive into economic policies that can lead to prosperity, including lowering taxes and taking a tough stance on China. The pair contrast Trump's success in the White House with the economic implications and turmoil of the Biden administration's policies, highlighting the impact of the Green New Deal and federal spending on inflation and the country's high debt burden.
