Since nothing interesting at all is happening in the news this week.... We have a special guest on the show to talk to us about what a caucus and convention are, how they work and why they're important. The roots of our republic stem from neighbors meeting together at churches, bars and taverns, discussing the topics that are important to them and, eventually, picking one among them to represent them in what became the Continental Congress. With what may be happening with the Supreme Court with Roe v. Wade, knowing who your local politicians are and the process of getting them to be in those positions is important to know and be a part of. This week, Trevor's dad, Scott, walks us through that and his experiences with being a state delegate at these conventions.
