Nearing 160 years since the Battle of Puebla where a Mexican army defeated the French in an upsetting victory. This battle has been celebrated as a holiday for decades and here we ask the questions, where are we now with commemorating this holiday, where is the line between celebration and cultural appropriation, and how is anti-imperialism being demonstrated in relation to this holiday?
