As the Executive Director of CyberUp, Tony Bryan is committed to cultivating the cybersecurity talent pipeline for today and tomorrow. He joined CyberUp as the first employee in 2016 after serving the St. Louis region’s nonprofit ecosystem for nearly 10 years in various roles. With over 20 years of leadership experience, he has become an apprenticeship and cybersecurity workforce advocate. Tony’s focus is on creating high-quality apprenticeships and gamifying cybersecurity learning for K12 students. His work has been recognized with invitations to serve on the State of Missouri Workforce Development Board and to lead the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Apprenticeship Community of Interest.Tony was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He honorably served in the United States Army for 9 years. During that time, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Business from Columbia College and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. Tony is proud to be #STLMADE and a self-proclaimed “nonprofit nerd.” When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife Addie and their four children. He is a football fanatic and an avid video gamer. He also serves on the board of directors of the Sparrow’s Nest and The Vetwork.
