“Conversation with A Black Woman” focuses on the challenge’s black women face. As black men we are often labeled as the enemy of our black women. When in fact we want to support and see our black women rise with love. On the other hand, I wonder if we minimize the concerns of the black woman. Not intentionally as we both are engaged in the same struggles.  Have we help to create the stereotypes of black women? As a black man I know the challenges I face in the corporate world and in society. But once again am I lacking understanding regarding the challenge’s our black women face or as men are, we assuming black women face less obstacles because they are women.

In this episode Demi speaks openly on this topic. She also answered multiple questions from me on the relationship of black men and women. We also talked about the challenges of dating in today’s world, including the stereotypes and myths surrounding black men and women.
